CHOOSING A BIBLE VERSION: THAT’S BEST FOR YOU.

What translation/Bible versions are best for beginners, Bible-Study, or advanced scholars? Enjoy these helpful charts with informative/comparative data.

What do we recommend? Using two versions, side by side, is always helpful to us. It’s how I study for every sermon, devotion, lecture or lesson. I prefer the NIV & KJV or the ESV & NASB. My suggestion for all around best, readable and understandable version is the NIV. For deeper study and literal meaning I highly recommend the ESV and NET/NASB. For rich, spiritual and deep meaning , the KJV.

So, which version do I always carry with me? The ESV. For me, the ESV is the best middle ground!
