#1 – God Loves You

God’s love is the foundation of our peace. We have reconciliation with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1). He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes in Him would move from a life of perishing to a life that is eternal (John 3:16).

#2 – God Created Us

We were created in His image, designed to reflect His character. But sin is the act of disobeying Him and going our own way. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Sin isn't just a mistake; it is falling away from the Standard of God’s holiness.

#3 – Sin Separates Us from God

Sin creates a gap that we cannot cross on our own. "But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear" (Isaiah 59:2). Neither tradition nor emotion can bridge this gap—only Jesus can.

#4 – Jesus Christ Provided the Only Way Back

Jesus Christ is the only bridge to the Father. He is the express image / God Himself in the Flesh. The incarnation. He died on the cross and paid the penalty for our sin. "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God" (1 Peter 3:18).

The Walk of Faith: How Do We Get There?

Have Faith and Repent

It starts with a change of mind and direction. Believe Jesus Christ is Lord and died for you. Recognize your need for the Savior (Acts 3:19). This is a firm decision to turn from your own way and give your life completely to Him.

Be Born Again: Water Baptism in Jesus' Name

To be "born of water" is to be buried with Him.

  • The Name: The saving name of Jesus Christ is pronounced over you.

  • The Act: You are buried in water for the remission (removal) of sins.

  • The Life: You rise up out of the water to walk in newness of life.

Receive the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is God’s promise to you—and the power to live a disciplined, Christ-like life. Believe that God has promised this gift to you and everyone the Lord calls (Acts 2:39). Jesus gives us the power to live as a bondservant for Him, with a sound mind. This is Christ Jesus IN you!
